The Spellcaster is an absolute triumph. While most of Flying Steel’s knives are designed with no-spin throwing in mind, the Spellcaster is specifically designed for rotational throwing. The weight, length, shape and balance are all expertly fine-tuned to allow for an easy and consistent throw. I have thrown a wide range of rotational knives, but no other knife has so completely dialed in my throwing. It almost feels like it’s cheating to throw it. The handle and blade are both an absolute joy to throw from. I can’t wait until I can buy at least 4 more of these.
