Storm Rider is a great knife for no-spin Akhmadu style throwing. It feels great in your hand, slips smoothly and sticks amazingly well. To practice no-spin with this knife gives one a tremendous satisfaction. It is hard to tell what is greater here: the quality of material, workmanship or design. This knife is simply perfect.

I have two of these hefty bad-boys and I tell you, they are a load! They would be the equivalent of a .40 caliber slug and provide quite a satisfying “thunk” when they hit their mark. They are (if I’m not mistaken) the biggest in the Storm/Hunter series and you can really tell! I just think they are awesome knives. Perfect for throwing no-spin and half-spin, and are very durable. I have had mine for about 5 years now. A+

I’ve owned quite a few Flying Steel throwing knives; many Talismans, Shur-Knives, Sky Rider, a Marauder (similar to the Upriser V7) Moon Ships. I know I’m forgetting something. Then The Storm Rider. To put it simply, best throwing knife to ever have graced my hands.
