All throwing knives require periodic maintenance. If at any time your Flying Steel items require maintenance, email us and we’ll get it fixed. In all cases, we do insist that you contact us via email, and then ship back the problematic items.
Any problem on the first half-inch of blade tip is considered normal wear and tear. In this case, you pay for return shipping, and you are responsible for risks in transit. Please pack securely and use tracked/insured shipping methods.
If the body of the knife is broken or bent, we pay for return shipping.
The maintenance plan does NOT include free restoration for the finish, surface damage, scratches, corrosion, or handles. However, restoration services are available. See throwing knife use and care to understand more about the durability of our knives.
When your item cannot be restored, we will offer store credit equal to your original purchase price, or a replacement item, at our discretion. Replacement items may be new or refurbished.
Policy is void in the event of abuse or intentional damage.
